Arnold Van Der Vegt is a talented writer who loves writing books about adventure and mystery. Throughout his narrative, he plays with the imagination of his readers in a way that grips and excites them. This love for finely-crafted storytelling has lived with him from an early age. Now, having grown as a budding creative over time, he wants to give back the same feeling of anticipation and exhilaration to his readers. Reading books has been an integral part of his young age. Each detailed scene from his writing pays homage to the skills he has developed on his journey.
Biography
From a young age, Arnold followed his storied passion for exciting readers with his words. Later in his life, he traveled far and wide in spots untouched by tourists because of his aptitude within the armed services and civilian life. He has traveled to places untouched by human presence, which inspired him to write about adventure and mysterious escapades to spin them into a great story. This is his first book aimed toward children, and with it, he hopes to draw them to compelling imaginative heights. For the last twenty years, he has enjoyed a successful business career in Australia. But now, he has embarked on his writing ventures.
Background
Arnold was an immigrant who traveled from Holland to Australia in 1952. He served his time in the armed forces and has journeyed parts known and unknown in places like Africa, South America, and Southeast Asia. In his search for adventure, he has found himself in areas untouched by the human population. During one of these trips, he left Benghazi 3 weeks before the attack on the American Embassy. Since then, he has broadened his horizons for writing stories for children. He is currently hard at work, fleshing out the sequel for One Out – Won Back. Besides this, he also currently finds himself writing an adult fiction novel scheduled to be published in 2024.
